Pronix is very effective for treatment of fascioliasis (mature and immature Fasciola hepatica) in cattle, sheep and goats.
Pronix is also very effective against Haemonchus contortus (adult and larval infestations with sheep and goats), Bunostomum phlebotomum, Haemonchus plucei and Oesophagostomum radiatum in cattle.
Indications:
- Pronix is indicated for the treatment of fascioliasis (infestations of mature and immature Fasciola hepatica) in cattle and sheep.
- It is also effective, at the recommended dose rate, against adult and larval infestations of Haemonchus contortus in cattle and sheep and Haemonchus placei, Oesophagostomum radiatum and Bunostomum phlebotomum in cattle.
Dosage and Administration:
For subcutaneous injection. Ensure the injection does not enter subcutaneous
muscle. Wear impermeable gloves to avoid staining and irritation of the skin.
The standard dosage is 10 mg nitroxinil per kg of bodyweight.
Cattle, sheep, goats, camels :
1 mL per 25 kg bodyweight by subcutaneous injection. This dosage may be increased to 1.25 ml per 25 kg bodyweight in case of acute Fascioliasis (immature flukes).
Dogs :
0.40 mL per 10 kg bodyweight by subcutaneous injection.
0.60 mL per 10 kg bodyweight by oral administration.
No more than 20 mL should be injected into a single site.
Repeat treatment only on advice of your veterinarian.
Warning
Avoid contact with skin and mucosa.

For Meat:
Cattle : 60 days
Sheep, goats : 49 days
Contra – Indications:
Do not use in animals in lactation if milk is intended for human consumption.

Multidose vials of 250 mL.
Multidose vials of 100 mL.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light. store among 15º to 30ºC (59°-86°F).
Keep out of reach of children and domestic animals.
Reseal after each use.
Do not smoke or eat while handling the product.
Target Species
Cattle, camels, sheep, goats and dogs.
